Radamase Cabrera, whom the press has identified as a spokesman for the Fannie Lou Hamer Political Action Committee, has posted from the email address "flh.pac@gmail.com" a message entitled "Personal Critique of the MD Governor's Redistricting Advisory Committee Legislative Redistricting Plan." His statement also appeared at Bmorenews.com.

Mr. Cabrera's message includes the following:

Every White man 60 years of age and older who grew up in America was socialized to believe the following notions:
One can treat a Black Man any way one desires and if the negro gets sassy, he can be threatened with lynching or castration.
Any Black woman rich or poor, north or south is a free target of sexual desires of any White man.
Negroes are intellectually, spiritually and morally inferior to White people because of the curse of "Ham" outlined in the King James Bible.

Questions:

Does this posting by Mr. Cabrera reflect the policies or positions of the Fannie Lou Hamer Political Action Committee or its officers and leaders?
If it does reflect the organization's views, can you cite any academic studies or other evidence that would support such a broad statement?
And if does reflect the organization's views, can you provide me with some examples or explanation of how and by whom this indoctrination was carried out, say for example, in the 1940s and 1950s in North Dakota, where most white residents grew up never meeting or even seeing a Black man or woman in person or on television (which did not reach most western rural areas until long after the formative years during which this alleged indoctrination would have occurred).
Finally, if this does not reflect the views of the organization or its leaders, will the organization be making such a statement?

This is certainly a disgustingly hateful posting which baldly accuses all white men over 60--hundreds of millions of them--of being racists. Just imagine the hysterical outrage there would be if a white man made similar derogatory remarks about all black men of a certain age.

Up to this point, I was inclined to agree with much of the goals and agenda of the Fannie Lou Hamer-Political Action Committee, but this makes it clear that at least one of the committee's top leaders has repudiated any notion of judging people by their character and are determined to judge voters and everyone else by the color of their skin.

Obviously Mr. Cabrera has rejected any notion of seeking a so-called "post-racial" society, and is quite willing to make vicious accusations and stir up racial discord in order to advance his own political agenda. He is no different in kind from the people he accuses.

Dr. Bruce Cain, the Redistricting Expert for the State of Maryland, argues that the 2010 Voting Age population base is the only viable statistical analysis to be utilized in creating African American majority Districts. Utilizing the Cain formula, there should be 13 African American +18 Voting Age Districts and 1 Latino +18 Voting Age District. The GRAC plan does not meet the Cain formula targets or even discuss the Cain methodology in its report or press release.

Brothas..you have to ask, "Why is this?" Why are Senate Pres. Mike Miller, House Speaker Mike Busch and Assistant Attorney General, Dan Friedman diluting Black and Brown voting strengths? Why are they politically oppressing and socially degrading the Black community.

This reminds me of a movie entitled " The Liberation of L.B. Jones," which came out in the 1970's. The movies plot was centered around a small town in Tennessee and was based on the Political degradation of the African American community and the sexual exploitation of the African American Woman. The main protagonist was a Black man who was a funeral director and was the wealthiest and most influential individual in the Black community. The Actor who starred in this role was actor Roscoe Lee Brown. His wife was a loose woman who gave her body to White Men because of her desire and need for power. Lola Falana starred as the wife. Please note that Halle Berry was not the first major Black actress to get nude and have sex with poor whites in a movie. Lola Falana's claim to fame was based on her being nude and having sex with White men in this movie.

You have to ask the question, "WHY IS THIS RELEVANT?" Every White man 60 years of age and older who grew up in America was socialized to believe the following notions:

This was a common fact in 1970 which is why the movie was denounced by White Liberals and applauded by Black communities. The character of Sonny Boy (played by Yaphet Kotto) was considered a "Bad Ass" negro who sought revenge on the town sheriff who consistently raped Black women and pistol whipped Black men.

Are Black Men going to challenge this redistricting process which will lay out leadership in Maryland for the next 10 years? It is time for Black Men to GET BAD ASSED and stop letting the Black Community be socially degraded, politically suppressed and economically exploited. Are Black men going to challenge the racist attitudes of Hoyer, Cardin, Miller and Busch with regard to questions of Black Political Empowerment in Prince George's County? Will any Black Man stand up to Governor Martin O'Malley on Tuesday, December 22, 2012 at the Public forum on legislative redistricting in Annapolis at 10:00am to challenge this White racist map?

Or.....Will Black Men continue to do the negro shuffle and suffer from "Intellectual Castration?" Any Black Man who thinks that Slots and Casinos should pay for Education and Health Care in Prince George's County suffer from Negro Intellectual Castration. C'mon Brothas...you've seen the HBO specials on Prostitution in Atlantic City. Black woman running around nude in clear heals and g-string soliciting White men coming out of the Casinos. Or...conversely, does Negro Intellectual castration say its okay for Black Women to sexually service the needs of White Casino customers?

I know you brothas think I am out of my mind. This is the problem I confronted being a poor negro child growing up in Harlem, NY in the 1950's. The NBC4 bias--one-sided reporting--this afternoon relating to budget issues in Washington and Wisconsin is so extreme and blatant that it makes me wonder if any NBC4 report is fair.

Interview after interview involved opponents of budget cuts. No person in favor of the Wisconsin budget cuts was interviewed. There was no mention of the size of the Wisconsin deficit. No supporter of Wisconsin Gov. Walker was interviewed. There was no mention of the fact that Gov. Walker's propsoals are were the basis of his successful campaign and that the voters made a clear choice in November.

The report on the federal budget, which clearly tried to point blame at Republicans, did not mention that Democrats controlled the Presidency and both houses of Congress during the entire year the 2011 budget should have been passed, but failed absolutely to carry out their budget responsibilities on a timely basis. The report did not mention the size of the deficit or the amount the Democrats increased it over the past couple of years.

If NBC4 were really a news organization, it would report on both sides of these budget issues.

But NBC4 has made it clear that it does not report balanced news, only tax and spend Democrat and union propaganda.

If George W. Bush had given British Prime Minister Gordon Brown a set of inexpensive and incorrectly formatted DVDs, would you have considered this shabby and not befitting proper presidential protocol?

If George W. Bush had given the Queen of England an iPod containing videos of his speeches, would you have thought this embarrassingly narcissistic and tacky?

If George W. Bush had bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia, would you have been taken aback?

If George W. Bush had misspelled the word "advice" and mispronounced the word "corps," mistaking it for a dead body, would you have wondered about this man's ability to articulate English and represent his country?

If George W. Bush had burned nine thousand gallons of jet fuel to go plant a single tree on Earth Day, would you have concluded he's a hypocrite?

If George W. Bush's administration had approved of Air Force One flying low and then sending in a jet fighter in downtown Manhattan, thus causing widespread panic, would you have wondered at the lack of sensitivity displayed by the Commander-in-Chief?

If George W. Bush had failed to send relief aid to flood victims throughout the Midwest, with more people killed or made homeless than in New Orleans during Katrina, would you wonder if this lack of assistance had racial overtones? Clearly you would have been incensed by the gross incompetence -- wouldn't you?

If George W. Bush had created the positions of 32 czars who report directly to him, bypassing approval by the House and Senate, would you have begun to wonder if American democracy was being trampled?

If George W. Bush had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though the president has no constitutional authority to do so, would you have worried about the moorings of this country and the abuse of power?

If George W. Bush had ignored outright voting rights violations and did not recommend that the Department of Justice render justice, would you begin to wonder if the man was the president of all the people or just some of the people?

So what is it about Obama that makes him so brilliant and impressive? He's done all this in fifteen months -- and we still have another two years and nine months to go.

Sen. Barbara Mikulski's July 28, 2010, press release "Mikulski Stands Sentry Over Taxpayer Dollars, Continues to Reform Government Spending," would like to make us believe that Mikulski is working to control government spending and the size of the rapidly increasing deficit.

But the truth is that Mikulski puts out press release after press release bragging about how much she has spent on deficit increasing pork.

She wants to have it both ways. She she has voted for bill after bill irresponsibly spending money we don't have, and she apparently thinks the voters are too dumb to realize it. Unfortunately, she's probably right.

Almost daily Sen. Barbara Mikulski puts out a press release bragging about how she is responsible for spending more and more money on pork. Or how she has supported yet another statist bill of dubious constitutionality like the so-called health care bill.

She NEVER brags about the costs or additional limits on the freedoms of American citizens.

At least four people plan to run against Mikulski this year. I don't any evidence that any of them follow her on a daily basis and report regularly on the costs and other negatives of her performance.

Would her favorable ratings continue if the negative sideof her work was publicized. We won't know if her opponents don't try.
